Our aim at Coventry Funeral Service is to keep things simple by streamlining the funeral arrangement process with fully inclusive funeral packages, clear pricing and giving you the necessary information to make the best decision for your loved one.

We are here every step of the way to guide you through the process of arranging a funeral, be that a traditional funeral service or a direct cremation service.

Unattended Funeral: £1395

An unattended cremation with an experienced funeral director is the perfect option for those who do not want to have a service or ceremony prior to the cremation.

What's included

  • These are the fees made to the crematorium and for the doctor’s cremation for medical certificate.

  • Collection of the deceased and transportation on the day of the funeral in a specialised funeral hearse.

  • A simple and respectful wood effect coffin will be provided with linings and fittings. There may be slight colour variations.

    Unattended funeral coffin

  • Your loved one will be prepared and dressed in a simple gown by our experienced funeral service staff.

  • You can collect your loved one’s ashes directly from Canley Crematorium. A simple biodegradable container will be provided.

    Charges will apply for retaining ashes for longer than one month.

  • This is your own special memorial website in tribute to your loved one, where you can share memories, thoughts and stories with family and friends as well as light candles, add music, photos and videos.

    You can collect fundraising donations for a special charity or project in their name, organise events, celebrate anniversaries – and much more.

What's not included

  • Viewing of the deceased
  • Limousines
  • Formal service or ceremony
  • Minister or celebrant
  • Embalming
  • Removal of a pacemaker or other radioactive implants.

If you require your loved one to be taken into our care outside our normal office hours of 8am – 5pm or over the weekend, an additional £250 will be charged.

Attended Direct Funeral: £1895

A cremation at Canley Crematorium with a reflective service of up to 15 minutes, arranged, coordinated, and attended by an experienced funeral director. You can listen to two pieces of music in the chapel and have up to 12 mourners.

  • These are the fees made to the crematorium and for the doctor’s cremation for medical certificate.

  • Collection of the deceased and transportation on the day of the funeral in a specialised funeral hearse.

  • A simple and respectful wood effect coffin will be provided with linings and fittings. There may be slight colour variations.

Traditional Funeral: £2995

A full 35 minute service in one of the chapels at Canley Crematorium. You can advise the funeral arranger of a date and time that is convenient for you and your loved ones. The funeral will be arranged, coordinated, and attended by an experienced funeral director.

What's included

  • These are the fees made to the crematorium and for the doctor’s cremation for medical certificate.

  • Collection of the deceased and transportation on the day of the funeral in a specialised funeral hearse.

  • A veneered oak coffin with solid oak mouldings and a high gloss finish.

    York coffin

  • You can choose if your loved one will be prepared and dressed in a simple gown or their own clothes by our experienced funeral service staff.

  • You can collect your loved one’s ashes directly from Canley Crematorium. A simple biodegradable container will be provided.

    Charges will apply for retaining ashes for longer than one month.

  • This is your own special memorial website in tribute to your loved one, where you can share memories, thoughts and stories with family and friends as well as light candles, add music, photos and videos.

    You can collect fundraising donations for a special charity or project in their name, organise events, celebrate anniversaries – and much more.

  • A donation box can be provided if desired. It will be situated at the exit to the chapel for mourners to make a donation to your nominated charity in your loved one’s memory.
